Mr. Allen’s employment law experience dates back to 1997, when he joined Kollman & Saucier, P.A. as an Associate working on management-side Employment Law issues. Mr. Allen continued his Employment Law practice through his tenure at Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. and later at Saul Ewing LLP. In those positions, Mr. Allen represented numerous small, medium and large companies in a variety of industries in connection with employment disputes, including employment discrimination, harassment, whistleblower/retaliation cases, overtime cases, wage cases, family & medical leave issues, non-compete agreements, trade secret misappropriation, works made for hire, employment agreements, severance/separation agreements and general labor and employment matters. Moreover, from 2003-2007, Mr. Allen was a Commissioner on the Maryland Commission on Human Relations, a Senate-confirmed gubernatorial appointment to the State-level agency that oversees employment and housing discrimination and other employment-related matters for Marylanders.
