Immigration Law

Mr. Allen is a first generation American whose parents and older siblings were political refugees who immigrated to the United States from Cuba in 1960. Growing up in an immigrant household gives Mr. Allen a unique perspective on the challenges and hurdles faced by individuals who are trying to enter and work in this country legally. Indeed, the prospect of helping immigrants solve these legal problems was one of the major reasons why Mr. Allen pursued a legal career. A native Spanish speaker who is also fluent in French, Mr. Allen has handled a number of immigration matters in his 12 year legal career and is prepared now to put his language skills and experience to work for individuals and businesses with legal needs in the areas of employment-based immigration, family-based immigration, political asylum and deportation/detention cases.
